This practice-wide quality improvement exercise will enable you to identify potential barriers to vaccine uptake and check your performance against evidence-based benchmarks. \n\n\n\nThere are two pathways for this program\, one for GPs\, and one for Practice staff (including practice managers\, practice nurses and other relevant practice staff). Please ensure you select the right program for your position. \n\n\n\nThis education is designed to take place over multiple weeks. It does not need to be completed in one sitting. You can stop at any time\, and progress will be saved. DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re delighted to invite General Practitioners and health practitioners to the upcoming Epworth GP education SLEEP webinar\, ‘Sleep essentials for GPs: Snoring to Narcolepsy & CBT-I’. \n\n\n\nTopics and Presenters\n\n\n\nTOPIC 1\n\n\n\nFrom Snoring to Narcolepsy: A GP Approach to Sleep Disorders Presented by Dr Sameer Karnam\, Respiratory & Sleep Physician  \n\n\n\nThis presentation will provide the GP with basic understanding of common sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)\, restless legs syndrome (RLS)\, narcolepsy and insomnia.  \n\n\n\nDiscussion will include clinical symptoms of each of the condition\, questionnaires used to assist with identifying appropriate patients for testing\, investigations used to make diagnosis and management.  \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes:  \n\n\n\n\nIdentify patients with sleep disorders \n\n\n\nOutline clinical history-taking and/or questionnaire to aid diagnosis \n\n\n\nOutline appropriate investigations and when to refer to a sleep physician \n\n\n\n\nTOPIC 2\n\n\n\nCognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) at Epworth Presented by Dr Harvey Jones\, Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist  \n\n\n\nThis presentation provides key insights into assessing sleep without data\, highlights the importance of sleep efficiency and regularity\, and outlines Epworth’s approach to treating insomnia.
